After 14 years as a therapist, I’ve come to understand a profound truth: feelings like cloudiness, overwhelm, and exhaustion are not who you are—they are often responses to not having the space to be your true self. My work is about helping you reclaim that space. In our therapy work together, we begin by gently exploring what’s holding you back and learning to distinguish your authentic voice from the limiting beliefs you may have internalized.

I specialize in helping adults who feel stuck, disconnected from their potential, or caught in self-sabotaging patterns. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, unresolved trauma, or childhood wounds—especially those rooted in family of origin dynamics or mother-daughter relationships. Therapy with me is a process of unburdening. Over time, clients often move from surviving to thriving, reconnecting with clarity, energy, and a deeper sense of purpose.

My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, and expressive arts therapy to meet your unique needs. Art therapy can be a powerful path to healing, helping to access inner experiences that words alone can’t reach. It’s especially effective for broadening your emotional range, enhancing self-understanding, and cultivating new, empowering perspectives.

More about me outside of being a therapist

  • I have a deep passion for food and a daily cappuccino.

  • I enjoy playing and watching golf.

  • People who know me well say I’m pretty funny once you get to know me.

  • For self-care, I try to focus on doing less harm instead of doing more.

  • Sometimes I do 30-day challenges where I take a break from flour-based foods (even though I love them!). It’s one way I take care of myself.

  • When I was younger, I thought the phrase “Be your true self” was cheesy. Now, I’m finally learning what it really means, and it’s a big part of how I live and work
